to Replace Plastics, National Secretariat Prabowo Spread 20 Thousand Paper Bags
Pojok Id. National Secretariat Prabowo-Sandiaga launched a campaign to care for the environment by distributing 20 thousand paper bags instead of plastic. The reason, plastic is not environmentally friendly.
"Because based on the discussions of our environmental experts, it is very dangerous for plastic waste. So, when looking after this, it is not only safeguarding our future," said Chairperson of National Secretariat Prabowo-Sandiaga, M Taufik, on Jl HOS Cokroaminoto, Menteng, Central Jakarta , Sunday.
The paper bag is brown with the logo of the Prabowo-Sandiaga National Winning Body. There is the inscription 'CARE ENVIRONMENT', the name Prabowo-Sandiaga, and 'Plastic Waste Containing Chemical Substances Harmful to the Environment and Health'.
A total of 20 thousand bags will be distributed in Jakarta, Semarang and Pekanbaru. Timses Prabowo-Sandiaga will move to the markets.
"In the traditional market, we see that it uses more plastic. Anything, buy chili using plastic, buy meat with plastic. Traditional markets that I meet in Jakarta and in various regions like that," said Taufik.
Taufik hopes that public awareness to reduce the use of plastic will increase. It will also continue to explore traditional markets in other regions after the first launch is now going well.
"Hopefully this will stimulate all people to move together to protect the environment. Hopefully, in three days, we will print again," he said.
